  • When interviewing sales candidates, ask them to sell something in the room.

  • In recruiting, I’m looking for a personality more than anything so [ask candidates]: of your friends, what role do you play? Often times the people that do really well in our business are catalysts

  • Knowing how to sell is one thing. Knowing how to close is another.

  • Approach prospects as buyers, not sellers.

  • It’s not about what metrics you track. It’s about how you leverage those insights to improve your team/business. “Even if a people might make a lot of calls, they might not get a lot of meetings.
